Steering Wheel Compatibility – Volkswagen (2008-2013)
Compatibility is determined based on the model, year, generation, and equipment present on your vehicle. Validation is performed prior to manufacturing.
Volkswagen models compatible with this configuration
- Volkswagen Polo 6R
- Volkswagen Golf 6 (5K)
- Volkswagen Scirocco (137)
- Volkswagen Passat B7 (3AA)
- Volkswagen Passat CC (358)
- Volkswagen Tiguan (5N)
- Volkswagen Touareg (7P)
- Volkswagen Touran (1T)
Retaining the original configuration
Customization is carried out on a base corresponding to your vehicle's generation. Original components are taken into account to allow for their reuse when they are compatible with the custom steering wheel.
- Airbag: The pyrotechnic airbag module is not provided with the new steering wheel. Your compatible airbag module must be reused.
- Retention of original steering wheel controls and buttons, when they are compatible.
- Integration of electronics and paddle shifters when the vehicle is equipped with them and their reuse is compatible.
- No replacement with a steering wheel from a different generation than that of the vehicle.
- No configuration requiring modification of the original safety system is offered.
Verification tailored to each vehicle
Even within the same model, the steering wheel configuration can vary depending on the year, trim level, options, and electronic equipment. The vehicle's name alone is therefore not always enough to determine exact compatibility.
Each order is manually verified before it enters production. This step allows us to confirm that the chosen configuration correctly matches your vehicle and its original equipment.
If you have any doubts about your Volkswagen, we recommend that you contact us before placing any order to accurately validate compatibility.
