Retention of Original Equipment
The custom steering wheel is made based on your Volkswagen's original configuration to allow for the retention of the main elements of the original steering wheel, depending on the vehicle's equipment.
- Airbag: The airbag is not supplied with the new steering wheel. Your original airbag module must be reused.
- Multifunction controls and buttons on the steering wheel are retained according to the original configuration.
- Paddle shifters are taken into account if the vehicle is equipped with them.
- Replacement with a steering wheel from a different generation is not offered.
- No voluntary modification of the original safety system is made.

Two vehicles of the same range may have different steering wheel equipment depending on their year, trim, or options.
This is why we do not rely solely on the model indicated: your vehicle's information is verified to accurately determine the appropriate configuration for your steering wheel.
