Retention of original components
This steering wheel is designed to allow for the reuse of your Mercedes' main original components, subject to compatibility:
- ✔️ Your compatible original airbag module
- ✔️ Your steering wheel buttons and controls
- ✔️ The original electronics
- ✔️ The paddle shifters, when present
The pyrotechnic airbag module is never provided by ADN Custom.
We do not offer generation upgrades: the steering wheel is designed to match the generation of your vehicle. A newer steering wheel is therefore not installed on an older generation.
Control activation
On certain non-AMG Mercedes models, an activation or coding of the steering wheel controls via diagnostics may be necessary after installation to ensure they function properly.
Any modification involving the vehicle's safety system or the adaptation of a component not intended for your generation is not offered.
Verification before production
Mercedes steering wheels can feature different configurations depending on the year, trim level, engine, and equipment. Two vehicles of the same model may therefore not use exactly the same steering wheel configuration.
For this reason, every order is subject to a manual compatibility check before production. In case of doubt, we may ask you for photos of your current steering wheel or certain information regarding your vehicle.
