Steering wheel equipment and configuration
The steering wheel can be configured according to your BMW's equipment. The steering wheel controls, buttons, paddles, and electronic components can be reused from your current steering wheel or provided as part of your new configuration, depending on the chosen options.
- Airbag: The airbag is not supplied with the new steering wheel. Your original airbag module must be reused.
- Controls and buttons: Possibility to keep your original components or choose controls adapted to your configuration.
- Paddle shifters: Taken into account when your BMW is equipped with them, with the possibility of reuse or supply depending on the chosen configuration.
- The electronic components are determined based on the model and equipment present on your vehicle.
- The custom steering wheel is designed to respect the original generation of your BMW. No generation change is offered.
Verification before manufacturing
Two vehicles of the same model may have different controls, paddles, or electronic equipment depending on their trim and options. We therefore verify the configuration of each order before manufacturing.
This validation allows us to determine the necessary components for your custom steering wheel and confirm their compatibility with your BMW.
