Steering wheel equipment and configuration
The steering wheel can be configured according to your BMW's equipment. The steering wheel controls, buttons, paddle shifters, and electronic components can be reused from your current steering wheel or provided as part of your new configuration, depending on the options chosen.
- Airbag: the pyrotechnic airbag module is not provided with the new steering wheel. Your compatible original airbag module must be reused.
- Controls and buttons: possibility of keeping your original parts or choosing controls adapted to your configuration.
- Paddle shifters: taken into account when your BMW is equipped with them, with the possibility of reuse or supply depending on the chosen configuration.
- The electronic components are determined based on the model and the equipment present on your vehicle.
- The custom steering wheel is designed to match the generation of your BMW. No generation change is offered.
Verification before production
Two vehicles of the same model may have different controls, paddle shifters, or electronic equipment depending on their trim and options. We therefore verify the configuration of each order before it goes into production.
This validation allows us to determine the elements necessary for your custom steering wheel and to confirm their compatibility with your BMW.
In case of doubt, contact us before ordering in order to precisely validate your vehicle's configuration.
