Customization and available equipment
The steering wheel configuration can be adapted to your BMW's equipment. Depending on your choice, the steering wheel controls, buttons, paddles, and electronic components can be reused from your current steering wheel or ordered with the new steering wheel.
- Airbag: The airbag is not supplied with the new steering wheel. Your original airbag module must be reused.
- Controls and buttons: Available depending on the selected configuration, with the possibility of reusing original elements when they are compatible.
- Paddles: Possibility of keeping existing paddles or choosing a configuration with adapted paddles when available.
- Electronics: Necessary components are determined based on the vehicle model and equipment.
- The steering wheel is designed to respect the original generation of your BMW. No modification intended to transform one generation into another is offered.

The equipment of the same BMW model can vary depending on the year, trim, and options. We therefore verify the configuration of each order before beginning manufacturing.
